교육학과

이화여자대학교 교육학과에서 박사학위를 받았으며 현재 대학원 교육학과에서 강의를 하고 있다.  교사교육, 교육프로그램 개발, 대학 교수학습 연구, 종교교육, 가톨릭교육 분야에서 연구 활동을 수행하고 있다. 

Graduated from Ewha Womans University Graduate School of Education and received a Ph.D. Currently teaching at the Graduate School of Education. Main research areas include teacher education, educational program development, university education research, and Catholic education.

연구자로서 교육적 리더십과 교육적 방법의 접근을 통해 가톨릭교육, 청소년사목, 교리교육, 대안교육에 대한 발전적 방향을 연구한다.  

As a researcher, my focus is  mainly on Catholic education, Youth Ministry, Catechetics, and Alternative Education through the lens of  educational leadership and educational methodological approaches. 

서울대학교 대학원에서 교육학을 공부하였으며,  한국교육개발원 연구원을 거쳐 2000년3월부터 가톨릭대학교에서 강의 시작. 경기도율곡교육연수원장과 한국교육과정평가원 10대원장을 엮임, 한국교육사회학회 부회장 역임.
고등학교평준화 정책의 효과 분석을 핵심적인 연구주제로 설정하였었고, 학생들의 학업성취에 미치는 영향력 분석, HLM과 같은 계량적 연구방법론 탐구, 혁신교육을 통한 학교현장 변화에 대해서도 관심을 기울이고 있음. 최근에는 [교육의숲]이라는 연구원을 만들어 현장교사들과 지역주민들과 협력하면서 다양한 현안 교육문제를 논의하고 있음. [대한민국교육트랜드2022, 2023, 2024]라는 세 권의 책을 공동집필하면서 코로나 이후, 대전환이 필요한 한국교육의 현황과 과제에 대해서 담론을 펼치고 있음.

I graduated at Seoul National University Graduate School, worked as a researcher at the Korea Educational Development Institute, and began teaching at the Catholic University of Korea in March 2000. I  served as the director of the Gyeonggi-do Yulgok Education Training Center and the 10th president of the Korea Institute for Curriculum and Evaluation, and as vice president of the Korean Society of Sociology of Education.
I have set the analysis of the effects of high school standardization policies as a core research topic, and am also interested in analyzing the impact on students' academic achievement, exploring quantitative research methodologies such as HLM, and changing school settings through innovative education. Recently, I  created a research institute called [Forest of Education] and  discussing various current education issues by collaborating with field teachers and local residents. While co-authoring three books called [Korea Education Trends 2022, 2023, 2024],  I am discussing the current status and tasks of Korean education that require a big transformation after the coronavirus.
